Manni Group continues building the future, during and after the health crisis

Verona, 11 April 2020

In compliance with the Decree of the (It.) Prime Minister of 10/04/2020, all Group Companies prepared and applied plans for the implementation of the health emergency management measures such as to make it possible to resume activities for orders related to essential supply chain activities, also envisaged by the latest (It.) Ministerial Decree.

Specifically, we would like to highlight:

Mapping of worker tasks and identification of corporate roles to which it was possible to extend remote working, guaranteeing the continuity of corporate activities.

Optimisation of the production capacity in the various geographical areas of the Group.

Preparation of management measures to reduce the need for personnel travel.

Establishment of a multidisciplinary work team dedicated to minimising the risk of infection, thanks to the implementation of best practices, revision of the management and organisational flows, and the constant update of the information provided to workers.

Certain Group Companies received supply requests for the supply chain of essential activities; the aforementioned plans are making it possible to respond as quickly as possible, strengthening our contribution towards overcoming the current crisis.

We must also mention the important effort of many teams transversal to almost the entire Group which resulted in the design of a fully equipped hospital module, thanks to the internal know-how and our organisation’s ability to partner with specialists. This is a project that, without any doubt, can resolve many emergency and precarious situations, through a very rational, well-organised solution that is not just temporary.

The meeting of all stakeholders of Manni Group should have been held on 26 May, on the occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the group’s foundation; in light of the current situation, however, the BoD decided to cancel the event and to donate the amount of the expenses that would have been incurred for the meeting to the Brain Research Foundation - BRFVr towards the purchase of equipment and a scholarship for the department of Neurology of the Policlinico of Verona.

Always in compliance with the Decree of the (It.) Prime Minister of 10/04/2020, the various Group Companies are preparing the activities needed to receive and ship material on the ground; therefore it is envisaged that we will perform these operations in collaboration with customers and suppliers starting on 15 April.

What we have just described confirms the attitude of a solid Group with regard to the future, innovation and social responsibility; a future where dry building will lead the recovery.
